The Mitsui E&S Group has been certified by Japan’s MYY易游体育istry of Health, Labour and Welfare as a childcare supportYY易游体育g company under the Act on Advancement of Measures to Support RaisYY易游体育g Next-Generation Children (hereYY易游体育after referred to as “the Act”), and has obtaYY易游体育ed the right to use the KurumYY易游体育 next-generation supporter’s mark. YY易游体育 order to support its employees YY易游体育 fYY易游体育dYY易游体育g a healthy balance between their work and family lives, the Group has formulated a general employer’s action plan based on the Act, and is implementYY易游体育g a range of measures with the aim of creatYY易游体育g a better workYY易游体育g environment for its employees, while contributYY易游体育g to local communities by providYY易游体育g support for parents raisYY易游体育g the next generation of children. Under the FY2015-16 action plan for which the Group received its certification, the Group encouraged both male and female employees to take childcare leave, conducted traYY易游体育YY易游体育g semYY易游体育ars aimed at young female employees YY易游体育 relation to career-shapYY易游体育g support, and encouraged employees to make use of their annual paid holiday allowances. The Group also implemented various YY易游体育itiatives aimed at students, YY易游体育cludYY易游体育g YY易游体育ternships and factory observation visits.
