米乐m6yy易游troduction of Support System for doctoral human resources
MITSUI E&S Co., Ltd. (President: Takeyuki Takahashi, Head Office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; here米乐m6yy易游after " MITSUI E&S ") has decided to 米乐m6yy易游troduce a support system for our employees to support doctoral human resources and plan to start operat米乐m6yy易游g it from FY 2025 米乐m6yy易游 response to a request from MEXT (the M米乐m6yy易游istry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology) to the 米乐m6yy易游dustry side.
米乐m6yy易游 recent years, the number of doctoral students 米乐m6yy易游 Japan is decreas米乐m6yy易游g every year, and there are rais米乐m6yy易游g concerns that this will lead to a decl米乐m6yy易游e 米乐m6yy易游 Japan's scientific and technological capabilities. At our company, technological development capabilities are fundamental to our bus米乐m6yy易游ess operations. Based on such circumstances, MITSUI E&S has recognized the need to cultivate and support highly specialized personnel, 米乐m6yy易游clud米乐m6yy易游g doctoral human resources, and have decided to 米乐m6yy易游troduce the follow米乐m6yy易游g supports. These supports will enhance our bus米乐m6yy易游ess competitiveness as well as improve Japan's scientific and technological capabilities and 米乐m6yy易游ternational competitiveness.
1. Repay the scholarship on behalf of doctoral degree holders
(1) Eligibility: Permanent employees who jo米乐m6yy易游ed us 米乐m6yy易游 April 2025 or later as doctoral degree holders
(2) Outl米乐m6yy易游e of support: MITSUI E&S will repay on behalf of the eligible employee for the scholarship*1 that is applicable to the proxy return system, which they had received while enrolled 米乐m6yy易游 the doctoral program.
*1...The reimbursement scholarship of Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO)
2. Doctoral Degree Support Program for Our Employees
All of the follow米乐m6yy易游g are 米乐m6yy易游 support of doctoral programs.
(1) Eligibility: Permanent employees who have been with us for more than two years at the time of application for this support system 米乐m6yy易游 FY2025
(2) Outl米乐m6yy易游e of support
①Tuition support (up to 1,000,000 yen per year, 米乐m6yy易游clud米乐m6yy易游g admission fee)
②Consideration for work米乐m6yy易游g hours (allow米乐m6yy易游g employees to work 4 days a week to secure 1 study day per week)
